Gretchen Alexander

Gretchen Alexander, M.D. is a highly experienced psychiatrist currently serving as the Director of the Psychiatry Consultation-Liaison Service and Consulting Psychiatrist at the Arizona Burn Center for Valleywise Health since September 2020. Additionally, Alexander holds the position of Associate Professor at Creighton University School of Medicine and serves as an Associate Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Phoenix. With extensive experience in various roles, including attending psychiatrist at Maricopa Integrated Health System and leadership positions such as President of the Arizona Medical Association, Alexander has a strong background in psychiatric care, team leadership, and education within the field. Alexander completed medical training at Long Island Jewish Medical Center and holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine.
