Dr. Tawny Maldonado

Dr. Tawny Maldonado is a seasoned educational professional currently serving as a Senior Doctoral Dissertation Chair at Grand Canyon University since December 2021. With a rich background in teaching and academia, Maldonado has held positions such as English and Yearbook Teacher in the Vallivue School District since August 2016 and previously at Tustin Unified School District from August 2006 to June 2014. Additionally, Maldonado was an Assistant Professor of Graduate Education and Master's Program Director at Northwest Nazarene University from July 2014 to May 2016. The educational journey includes a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from Azusa Pacific University, a Master's in Education with a focus on Curriculum and Instruction from Biola University, and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology, also from Biola University. Maldonado also contributed as a Doctoral Research Assistant at Azusa Pacific University and served as an Adjunct Faculty Instructor in Education at Biola University.
