Heather Baker

Heather Baker is an experienced educator with a strong background in special education. Currently serving as a Math Resource Teacher at Vallivue School District since August 2021, Heather has previously worked as a 7th grade Resource Teacher at Boise Independent School District. Heather's earlier roles include Administrative Assistant for Special Education at West Ada Schools, and various positions at Waldron High School, including Special Education Teacher with a focus on intense intervention and emotional disabilities. Heather began the career in education after earning a Bachelors of Science in Special Education and Teaching from Ball State University and later obtaining a Masters of Education from Marygrove College. Additional experience includes roles at John L Scott Real Estate and Meaningful Day Services.
