Yann Gallois

Yann Gallois has extensive experience in the field of engineering and technical sales, primarily at Vallourec since February 2011. Currently serving as Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing - Tech Sales, Yann creates a technical link between customers, technical experts, and production facilities to promote WAAM technology, recognized for its technical maturity and high build rate. Previous roles include Process Engineer at the Vallourec Threading Competence Center, where Yann focused on process improvements and additive manufacturing savings, and Innovation & Research Leader at the Vallourec Research Center Connections, responsible for designing innovation strategies and conducting research investigations. Additionally, as Innovation Project Leader for Surface Treatments, Yann led projects on thin coatings for anti-corrosion and lubrication. Yann began at Vallourec as an R&D Engineer for Drill Connections, managing projects and qualifying connections for customers. Education was obtained from ENSAIS Strasbourg.
