Alexander Schumann

Alexander Schumann is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in sales and technology development within the paper and board manufacturing industry. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Sales and Agreements Development at Valmet since May 2022, Alexander previously held the position of Senior Manager of Paper Solutions at Valmet GmbH from December 2013 to February 2023, where responsibilities included team leadership for product and technology sales across Central Europe. Prior experience includes roles as Sales Manager at Metso, where Alexander focused on key account management in the German-speaking region, and Product Manager at both Bosch and Metso, specializing in product development and optimization solutions for various industries. Alexander began a career as a Design Engineer at Reinhard Papiermaschinen GmbH & Co. KG and holds a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Mechanical Engineering from Technische Universität Karlsruhe.
