Kari Koivisto

Kari Koivisto has extensive experience in quality control and management, currently serving as the Manager of Quality Control Support and Development at Valmet since October 2013, where responsibilities have expanded across various international business lines. Previous roles include Manager of Production Quality Support at Valmet, leading a team focused on calibration, machine tool measurements, and various development projects in cooperation with academic institutions and other firms. Kari has also served on the board of Leivon Huoltamo Oy and Teboil Kukkumäki, while holding managerial positions at Metso Paper, overseeing a large team and maintaining quality in production operations. Kari's educational background includes an M.Sc in Production Engineering from Tampere University of Technology and training as an Assistant Mechanic in the Air Force.
