Markus Hämäläinen is currently serving as the Chief Engineer for Sales Applications at Valmet, where they focus on application engineering in new line deliveries and sustainability development. Previously, Markus held various roles at Valmet, including Application Engineer and R&D Trainee, and completed their Master’s thesis on sustainability in the forest industry. Markus has also worked as a Teaching Assistant in Combustion Engineering at Tampere University and gained experience as a truck driver and production trainee. They earned a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tampere University and Tampere University of Technology, respectively.
