Andy Smith

Andy Smith is an experienced professional in the irrigation and agriculture industries, currently serving as the Director of Industry Relations at Valmont Industries since July 2013. At Valmont, a leader in manufacturing poles, towers, and mechanized irrigation equipment, Andy focuses on enhancing food production and conserving water resources. Prior to this role, Andy was the National Accounts Manager at Reinke Irrigation, where expertise in irrigation systems was developed. As External Affairs Director at the Irrigation Association, Andy managed legislative and regulatory affairs and public relations. Andy also co-owned Boyne Turf & Horticulture and was the owner of Smith Irrigation, Inc., contributing significant entrepreneurial experience to a robust professional background. Andy holds education from Michigan State University.
