Lisa Griffin Thys

Lisa Griffin Thys is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in lean excellence and continuous improvement across various industries. Currently serving as the Sr. Director of Global Lean Excellence at Valmont Industries, Inc. since June 2023, Lisa has previously held significant roles at Advance Auto Parts, Ply Gem, WestRock Company, and Caterpillar Inc. Throughout her career, Lisa has managed numerous development programs, led substantial continuous improvement projects, and implemented lean methodologies and Six Sigma practices to enhance operational efficiency. Lisa holds a BS in Business, Management and Leadership from Capella University, along with two associate degrees in Management and Engineering from Becker College and Ulster County Community College, respectively.
