Richard S. Cornish

Richard Cornish is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in leadership roles within the manufacturing and military sectors. Currently serving as President of the Global Coatings Segment at Valmont Industries since November 1996, Richard oversees 37 facilities across seven countries, focusing on galvanizing, powder coating, paint, and anodizing processes. Prior to this role, Richard was a Captain in the US Navy, successfully completing Surface Warfare School and serving on amphibious assault ships. Richard's earlier professional experience includes serving as Vice President of Operations at Kinark Corp. Boyles Galvanizing from January 1988 to November 1996, where various positions were held. Richard holds an MBA in Finance from The University of Tulsa and a BS in Business Administration from The University of Kansas.
