Andrea Rossi

Andrea Rossi, PhD, has a diverse work experience in the field of computational chemistry and machine learning. Andrea is currently serving as a Senior Staff Data Scientist at Valo since October 2020. Prior to this role, Andrea worked as a Consultant and Advisor, being self-employed from April 2020 to October 2020.

Andrea Rossi, PhD, obtained a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Theoretical Physics, Condensed Matter, and Statistical Mechanics from Università degli Studi di Firenze from 1991 to 1997. Andrea then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Physics, specializing in Condensed Matter and Statistical Mechanics, at the International School for Advanced Studies SISSA/ISAS in Trieste, Italy, from 1997 to 2000. Following this, they completed a Post-Doctoral Fellowship at The Rockefeller University from 2000 to 2003. Finally, they completed another Post-Doctoral Fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco from 2003 to 2006.
