Kyle D. has a strong background in scientific research and chemistry. Kyle has worked at various companies and institutions throughout their career.

Starting in 2010, Kyle worked as a Stowers Scholar at the Stowers Institute for Medical Research. Kyle then went on to be a Peer Mentor and Student Research Assistant at Drake University from 2009 to 2012.

In 2011, they participated as an NSF-REU Participant in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Kansas.

In 2020, Kyle joined Nurix Therapeutics as a Scientist II in Lead Discovery for a year.

Currently, Kyle is working at Valo as a Senior Scientist in Early Discovery & DEL Chemistry, a position they held from July 2021 to August 2022. Kyle then moved up to the role of Principal Scientist in Early Discovery & DEL Chemistry, starting in August 2022.

Kyle D. began their education journey in 2004 at Shawnee Mission Northwest High School. After completing high school in 2008, they enrolled at Drake University where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree. Kyle D. graduated cum laude from Drake University in 2012 with a major in Biochemistry, Cell & Molecular Biology and Chemistry, along with a minor in Business. Kyle then continued their studies at Purdue University from 2012 to 2017, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Medicinal Chemistry & Molecular Pharmacology.
