Heikki Kaunisto

Heikki Kaunisto is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in executive leadership roles across various industries. Currently serving as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial & Strategy Officer at Valokuitunen since July 2020, Kaunisto previously held the position of CFO at Antilooppi, a Finnish real estate investment company, from August 2016 to July 2020. Prior roles include CFO of NEOT, where responsibilities encompassed financial steering and reporting, as well as VP of Group Finance & Control at CPS Color. Kaunisto began a career in finance at Neste, progressing through various positions including Director of Business Control and Head of Treasury Risk Management. Earlier experience includes a role as Business Controller at M-real, a leading European paper and paperboard producer. Kaunisto holds a Master of Science degree from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan, obtained in 2000.
