Mike Brown, M.Ed., is an experienced educator and college counselor, currently serving as a Teacher of College Counseling at Valor Collegiate Academies since July 2021. In addition, Mike operates Brown Educational Consulting, providing college consulting services from July 2019. Previously, Mike held various roles at Pope John Paul II High School, including Director of College Counseling and Director of School Counseling, from 2005 to June 2019. Mike also served as the Director of College Counseling at Battle Ground Academy and as a School Counselor in Cheatham County Schools, supporting students across multiple programs. Early career experience includes roles as a School-Based Substance Abuse Counselor and a History Teacher. Mike holds a Master of Education in Human Development Counseling from Vanderbilt University and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Birmingham-Southern College.
