Valor Collegiate Academies
Tabby Mays Bailey is currently a Special Education ELA Teacher and Special Education Paraprofessional at Valor Collegiate Academies since June 2023, following a diverse career in education and retail management. Previous roles include Retail Store Manager, Assistant Manager, Inventory Specialist, and Sales Associate at Hester & Cook Design Group from March 2021 to May 2023, and a Virtual BrightStone Administrator and Special Education Teacher at BrightStone from May 2019 to March 2021, focusing on providing education and support to developmentally and intellectually challenged adults. Tabby also served as an Operations Monitor at the William H. Bell Center, managing student employees, and gained experience as a Program Director Assistant with AugustHeart, assisting in heart screenings for teenagers. Additionally, Tabby worked as an iTEC Instructor, teaching elementary students science and engineering lab experiments. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Religion/Religious Studies from Trinity University, complemented by studies at the University of Canterbury.

Valor Collegiate Academies is the first diverse-by-design, public college preparatory charter school in Nashville, TN to serve a holistically diverse background of students.
