Valor Collegiate Academies
Taylor Colgan (Roman) has extensive experience in mathematics education, currently serving as a Secondary Mathematics Teacher at Valor Collegiate Academies since July 2019. Prior roles include Math Teacher at RePublic Charter Schools from 2016 to July 2019 and Mathematics Teacher at Wilson County Schools from 2014 to 2016. Taylor began teaching as a Student Teacher at Williamson County Schools and Metro Nashville Public Schools in early 2014, focusing on Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Algebra II Honors, and AP Calculus AB. Earlier experience includes working as a Summer Day Camp Counselor at North Canton YMCA Child Development Center in 2013. Taylor holds a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education & Mathematics from Vanderbilt University, completed in 2014, following education at Hoover High School from 2006 to 2010.
