James Skidmore

James Skidmore is an accomplished environmental and consulting professional with extensive experience in waste management and resource efficiency. Currently serving as Director of Consulting and Head of Consulting at Valpak Limited since November 2019, James previously held the position of Environmental Resource Manager at Sainsbury's from April 2013 to October 2019, managing waste disposal processes across Sainsbury’s and Argos. Prior roles at Valpak Limited from July 2001 to April 2013 included Service Development Manager, where James facilitated understanding of environmental regulations, and Business Development Manager. Earlier experience includes a role as a Scientist at DERA, providing analytical support for armed forces operations. James holds an MSc in Operational Analysis from Cranfield University and a 2:1 Hons in Business Mathematics from the University of Kent.
