Colleen Peluso

Colleen Peluso has a diverse range of work experience. From 2017, they have been working at Valparaiso Community Schools as an English Teacher & Theatre Director, where they focus on developing curriculum and building communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills in upperclassmen. Prior to that, they worked at Memorial Opera House from 2009, coordinating performances and leading rehearsals as a Theatre Director. From 2012 to 2017, they worked at Tri-Creek School Corporation, where they developed and implemented curriculum for English and Interactive Media classes, and was also involved in several new initiatives. Previously, from 2006 to 2010, they worked at Big House Casting and Audio as a Studio Manager, Producer, and Casting Director, where they trained employees, coached clients in voiceover talent, and provided marketing and promotional plans.

Colleen Peluso obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Journalism from Drake University, where they studied from 2000 to 2004. Colleen later pursued a Master of Education degree specializing in Secondary Education and Teaching at Valparaiso University from 2010 to 2011.
