Rachel G.

Rachel G. is an experienced educator currently serving as a Fifth Grade Elementary Educator at Valparaiso Community Schools since August 2020. In addition to this role, Rachel has been involved with the Valparaiso Parks Department since June 2017, where duties include serving as a Summer Camp Counselor and Director at Rogers Lakewood Park. Previous experience includes a student teaching position in a 1st grade classroom at Valparaiso Community Schools and serving as a 3rd and 4th grade Sunday School teacher at St. Mark's United Methodist Church. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Education in Elementary Education from Indiana University Bloomington, obtained in 2020, and completion of high school at Valparaiso High School in 2016. Early work experience also includes a position at Greek's Pizzeria, where Rachel developed customer service and operational skills.
