Dave Sierkowski

Dave Sierkowski, chief technology officer, joined Valparaiso University in 2006 as systems administrator, became a lead systems administrator in 2008, and in 2010, was promoted to director of systems administration.

In 2013, Dave’s role shifted, and he began to oversee all University databases as well as programmers and developers.

He assumed his current role of chief technology officer in February 2016, which has included leadership over the Continuous Improvement office, management and development of the University’s IT security program, as well as campuswide implementation of EMS, JIRA Service Desk, and Kronos.

Dave holds a bachelor’s in computer science from Purdue University.
