Laura Krepp

Laura Krepp is an accomplished Assistant Professor of Communication and Visual Arts at Valparaiso University since January 2020, specializing in graphic design and visual communications through various courses. As the owner of Free As A Bird Designs, Laura operates a design studio focusing on custom print and digital media for diverse industries. Previous experience includes roles as Creative Project Manager at +WeCreate Media, Marketing Specialist at Smith Donovan Marketing & Communications, and Business Development Assistant at Alfred Benesch & Company, demonstrating a strong expertise in marketing, project management, and brand development. Laura has also contributed as a writer for Chicago Art Magazine and served as Publications Assistant at The Art Institute of Chicago. Laura holds a Master’s degree in Writing and Visual Communications from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a Bachelor’s degree in English and Art from the University of Iowa.
