Saurabh Sachdeva

Saurabh Sachdeva, Ph.D., currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Instruction at Valparaiso University since August 2025. Prior experience includes an Adjunct Assistant Professor position at The City University of New York, where Saurabh instructed undergraduate courses on circuit theory, blockchain technologies, and computer security from January 2020 to September 2025. As a Graduate Research Assistant at The City College of New York from January 2020 to September 2024, Saurabh focused on blockchain applications in the energy sector, developing a decentralized architecture for peer-to-peer energy trading. Other roles include a Visiting Researcher at Kyushu Institute of Technology and graduate research assistant positions at both the University of Missouri-Kansas City and The NorthCap University. Saurabh holds a Ph.D. in Blockchain, Cybersecurity, & Smart Grids and has a diverse educational background in Electrical Engineering and Electronics Engineering.
