Thorben Krieger

Thorben Krieger has a diverse work experience in the technology and automotive industries. Thorben started their career at SAP in 2007 as a Consultant in the automotive and manufacturing industry, specializing in warranty, plant maintenance, and service management. Thorben worked on various projects worldwide, progressing to roles as a solution architect and project lead. In 2014, they joined SAP's Mobile Innovation Apps & IoT unit as a Senior Consultant and Project Lead, where they supported customers in proof-of-concepts and pilot rollouts, and acquired strategic and innovative projects for SAP. In 2016, they became a Senior Developer for IoT Moving Assets, focusing on data modeling and integrating vehicle information into business processes. Thorben also designed extensibility concepts for customer and partner use. From 2018 to 2019, Thorben worked as a Product Owner for IoT Moving Assets, leading scrum teams and contributing to the product strategy for connected vehicles and IoT. Currently, they are employed at Valtech Mobility GmbH as the Business Circle Lead for Vehicle Data Products, responsible for shaping the business strategy and delivering value through cross-functional DevOps teams.

Thorben Krieger obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Knowledge Engineering / Computer Science from Maastricht University, starting in 2003 and completing in 2007. Thorben also earned a Master's degree in International Business from Maastricht University, starting in 2001 and finishing in 2006. Additionally, they obtained three additional certifications: Machine Learning from Stanford University on Coursera in 2013, In-Memory Data Management from Hasso Plattner Institute in 2011, and Project Management Associate from the Project Management Institute in 2010.
