Björn Koth

Björn Koth is a seasoned technology expert with extensive experience in software development and technical consulting. Currently serving as Principal Technical Consultant at Valtech since January 2021, Björn previously held multiple roles at Swisscom from September 2008 to January 2021, including DevOps Engineer, ICT Application Engineer, and Software Engineer/Technical Product Manager. As the Founder and Managing Partner of konzentrik GmbH from 2005 to 2008, Björn focused on PHP and C# .NET development, notably contributing to the launch of Europe’s first IPTV solution in collaboration with Microsoft for Swisscom. Early in the career, Björn worked as a Freelance CMS Developer at Axel Springer SE and a Freelance Web Developer at 3W Consulting, specializing in PHP/MySQL and Adobe technologies. Björn holds a Master's degree in Computer Science and Media from Fachhochschule Wedel and a Diploma in Multimedia Design and Production from Varsity College.
