Carsten Riggelsen

Carsten Riggelsen has approximately 20 years of academic and industry experience in computational statistics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. They hold both an MSc and PhD in Machine Learning from Utrecht University and have served in various high-level roles, including Principal Investigator and Head of Data & AI Strategy at multiple organizations. Currently, Carsten leads Data & AI initiatives at Valtech, focusing on driving digital transformation in the DACH region. Additionally, they have contributed to academia as a Research Fellow at the University of Potsdam and as a Principal Applied ML Scientist for the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization.
