Gustavo Pereira

Gustavo Pereira has a diverse work experience in the field of frontend development. Gustavo started their career as a Software Developer at Comil Ônibus S.A. in 2005 and then moved on to Meta IT in 2007. In 2008, they joined TERRA as a Frontend Developer, where they focused on performance and innovation in various projects and services. At TERRA, they also served as a developer leader for structural maintenance of editorial digital products.

In 2014, Gustavo joined Grupo RBS as a Senior Frontend Developer, where they contributed their expertise in product development and UX design. Gustavo played a key role in the reconstruction of the Live and On-Demand video platform and utilized HTML5, JS, Gulp, open-source libraries, AB testing, and test-driven development.

In 2015, Gustavo joined Nonlinear as a Senior Frontend Developer, where they integrated modern front-end solutions into SiteCore environments for Nonlinear Creations' clients. Gustavo worked on Agile methodologies and ensured a seamless development process for business results.

In 2020, Gustavo joined Valtech as a Director of Expertise Frontend, where they managed and guided a team of frontend developers. Gustavo was responsible for defining and building frontends stacks and enabling clients to achieve their tech goals. Prior to this role, they also held positions as a Principal Frontend Lead and Senior Frontend Lead at Valtech France, focusing on delivering robust and scaled projects and maintaining best practices for the frontend development team.

In addition to their work at Valtech, Gustavo also joined Louis Vuitton in 2020 as a Principal Frontend Architect. Here, they worked closely with other team members to develop top-notch front-end technologies and deliver best-in-class products and features to clients.

Gustavo Pereira completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Universidade Regional Integrada do Alto Uruguai e das Missões - URI, between 2001 and 2005. Gustavo then pursued their Graduation at Computer Science in Web Development from Universidade de Passo Fundo, from 2005 to 2006.
