Tannis Gibson

Tannis Gibson is an experienced UX leader currently serving as an Experience Lead at Valtech since September 2012, focusing on enhancing the digital product experience for organizations to drive growth and customer retention. With a background in strategic planning and coaching within large web ecosystems, Tannis has effectively acted as Product Owner in agile methodologies. Previously, Tannis was a Technical Project Leader at the University of Alberta, managing client relationships and overseeing projects for multiple faculties and administrative units. Tannis also played a pivotal role as a Web Communications Coordinator, spearheading the implementation of the Sitecore Content Management System across the university. Early career experience includes serving as a Web Coordinator for the Alberta Alcohol and Drug Abuse Commission (AADAC). Tannis holds a Master of Library & Information Science from the University of Alberta and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of Calgary.
