Alan MacPherson

Alan MacPherson is a distinguished finance professional currently serving as a Partner in the Energy, Utilities & Resources sector at PwC since July 2024. Prior to this, Alan held significant leadership roles at Anglo American, including Group Head of Finance & Reporting, Group Financial Controller, and Group Head of Tax from January 2016 to July 2024. Alan's extensive experience also includes a partnership at Deloitte for two decades, positions at Andersen and Arthur Andersen, and consulting work at KPMG. Alan began a career in finance as an auditor at HMRC from 1991 to 1995. Alan holds a degree from the University of Portsmouth.
