Schalk Olivier

Schalk Olivier is a seasoned networking and technology professional with extensive experience in operational technology and network engineering. Currently serving as the Senior Network Engineer: LAN at Valterra Platinum since May 2025, Schalk designs, deploys, and operates secure Local Area Networks across multiple sites. Previous roles include OT Specialist positions at Anglo American, where responsibilities ranged from leading the IM Support Centre to designing and maintaining voice and data networks for critical industrial operations. Earlier career highlights include being a Technology Architect at INDUSNET, a software developer, and a network engineer at RSAWEB, alongside foundational experiences in IT support roles.
