Mari Näätsaari

Mari Näätsaari has a strong professional background in the public sector. Mari is currently serving as the Director of Government grant services at Valtiokonttori (State Treasury of Finland) since March 2021. Prior to this role, they worked at Valtiovarainministeriö (Ministry of Finance) from 2018 to 2021 as the Head of Unit. Mari also has experience as a Board Member at Tietokarhu Oy from 2019 to 2020. Before that, they worked at the State Treasury as the Deputy Director from 2009 to 2017. Mari began their career at Statistics Finland as a Senior Statistician from 1998 to 2004. Throughout their career, Mari has held various roles in the government and has gained significant expertise in finance and statistics.

Mari Näätsaari obtained their Master's degree in Economics from Joensuun yliopisto, where they studied from 1994 to 1998.
