Pirre Laaksonen

Pirre Laaksonen has extensive experience in various administrative and coordinative roles across public and non-profit sectors. Currently serving as a Coordinator in the Information Policy Unit at Valtiovarainministeriö since August 2015, Pirre contributes to digitalization initiatives and international collaborations, including Finland's roles in Nordic and EU events. Previous positions include Assistant in the Financial Markets Department, where Pirre supported the drafting of regulations and conducted extensive administrative tasks. Experience in fundraising, communications, and management for various NGOs, along with a background in office administration at the Embassy of Brazil, demonstrates a strong foundation in organizational and multi-lingual communication skills. Academic credentials include a Master of Arts in Humanities from the University of Helsinki, a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Turku, and ongoing vocational studies in Business and Administration.
