Sami Aalto

Sami Aalto has extensive legal experience, currently serving as a Ministerial Advisor at Valtiovarainministeriö since December 2022. Previously, Aalto held the position of Senior Legal Advisor at Opetus- ja kulttuuriministeriö from June 2020 to December 2022 and worked as a Senior Specialist at Tuomioistuinvirasto from January 2020 to June 2020. Aalto's career includes senior specialist roles at Oikeusministeriö from March 2017 to December 2019 and administrative court judge at the Administrative Court of Helsinki from September 2013 to February 2017. Additional experience includes serving as Legal Counsel for Järvenpään kaupunki and Asianajotoimisto Allianssi Oy, as well as a trainee judge at the District Court of Satakunta. Aalto completed a Master of Laws (LLM) degree at the University of Turku in 2010.
