Sijil Karim

Sijil Karim is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the food and spice industry. Currently serving as the Director & CEO of Value Ingredients Private Limited since December 2017, Sijil leads a BRC A grade and organic certified processor of steam sterilized spices in Chennai, India, emphasizing principles of People, Innovation, Value, and Service. Prior to this role, Sijil held various leadership positions at IFFCO from December 2010 to December 2017, successfully driving the development of the spices and seasonings business across the MENA region. Earlier career milestones include business leadership at VKL Seasonings Pvt Ltd and Vallabhdas Kanji Limited, as well as a foundational role in sales for Amul Ice Cream at GCMMF. Sijil holds an MBA in Marketing from the Institute of Rural Management, Anand, and a BSc in Horticulture from Kerala Agricultural University.
