Andrea Forzi

CEO at Valvitalia Group

Andrea Forzi is the current CEO at Valvitalia Group. Prior to this, they served as the President Petrochemical, Isolation & Actuation, IMI Critical Engineering at IMI PLC from January 2015 to December 2019. In this role, they were responsible for creating and leading a team of 12 direct reports in charge of making and delivering 5-year strategic plans, monthly reports, quarterly forecasting, and annual budgets.

During their time at IMI PLC, Andrea was able to grow the business in declining markets and enhance the business in terms of bookings, sales, and operating profit through exceptional services. Andrea also played a key role as president of the Boards of IMI Remosa, IMI Orton, IMI Truflo, and IMI STI. As CEO of the Italian Holding Company, they were responsible for the timely completion of projects. Andrea was also able to optimise the mix sales by 13% in sales moving from £225M and 23% in operating profit to £25M in the last year.

Some of their key accomplishments during their tenure include managing various commercial opportunities that strengthened brand leadership, such as £60M PDH application win, £30M Ethylene win, £25M water transmission win, and £22M PTA win. Andrea was also able to utilise the improved worldwide manufacturing capacity while delivering enhanced service delivery that resulted in reducing under absorption by £3M. In 2018, they increased the operating profit by £12M through the management of the complex closure of IMI Truflo Rona Belgium plant.

Andrea Forzi has a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Brescia.
