Corey Kaemming

Corey Kaemming has extensive work experience in the field of information security and IT management. Corey is currently working as the Sr. Director of Information Security at Valvoline Inc. Prior to that, they held the position of Sr. Manager Head of Information Security at The Andersons, Inc. where they played a key role in managing enterprise risks and aligning cyber strategy with business strategy.

Before joining The Andersons, Inc., Corey worked at First Solar for several years. Corey served as a Global IT Security Manager, overseeing day-to-day operations, developing incident response plans, and managing vulnerabilities. Corey also led a global team of security practitioners and supervised the global security operations across various teams. Additionally, Corey held the role of IT Program Manager II at First Solar, successfully managing multimillion-dollar projects and ensuring compliance with NERC/CIP regulations in the energy services group.

Corey started their career at First Solar as a Technical Architect, designing complex network infrastructure for PV plant projects and collaborating with SCADA and Controls teams. Corey then progressed through various roles as an Infrastructure Engineer, contributing to the design and implementation of campus fiber backbones and IT/OT networks.

Throughout their career, Corey has demonstrated expertise in information security, IT management, project management, and network infrastructure design.

Corey Kaemming holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Engineering Technology from The University of Toledo. In 2016, Corey pursued further education and obtained a Masters of Science in Management, specializing in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance, from Colorado Technical University. Additionally, Corey has a certification in Enterprise Cybersecurity Leadership Academy from the Professional Development Academy, obtained in 2022.
