Sam Karia

Sam Karia is a seasoned business development professional currently serving as Director of Business Development at Vama since September 2024. Karia also operates as a self-employed Business Consultant, advising senior leadership on business development, integrated marketing, and product development since September 2023. Previously, Karia held the position of Business Development Manager on a contract basis at NextED Consulting from August 2024 to January 2025 and worked at Verizon from May 2022 to September 2023 as Manager of New Business Strategy, where responsibilities included spearheading corporate strategy and developing tier-one partnership models and M&A proposals. Karia earned an MBA from Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management and holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance and Pre-Law from the University of the Pacific.
