Damian Koob has extensive experience in the field of technology services. Damian began their career as a Computer Engineer at Dolbey and Company, where they managed an IS staff and specialized in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting medical software systems for hospital clients. Damian then moved on to Plainwell Community Schools, where they served as a Network Administrator, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the computer learning community and managing network, Google Apps, and Student Information System user accounts. After that, they joined Gobles Public Schools as the Director of Technology and Data Management, responsible for infrastructure, equipment, training, and technology integration across all grade levels. Currently, Damian is working at Van Buren Intermediate School District as the Director of Technology Services, where they oversee technology initiatives and provides support to staff and students.
Damian Koob completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology from Ferris State University from 1995 to 1999. Damian then pursued a Master of Science degree in Information Systems Management from the same university, which they obtained from 1999 to 2001. In addition to their formal education, Damian Koob also obtained a certification in MSBO School Technology Management in April 2014.
