Adam Byrd

Adam Byrd is a seasoned law enforcement professional with over two decades of experience, currently serving as a Police Sergeant at the Van Buren Township Police Department since June 2006. Promoted to Sergeant in February 2024, Adam emphasizes integrity, leadership, and community engagement in daily operations. Additionally, Adam holds a position as a Board Member on the Executive Committee of the Police Officers and Governmental Employee Labor Council (POLC/GELC), representing nearly 3,885 public safety employees. Adam also serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Revolutionary Designz, LLC, overseeing its management and growth since November 2012, and previously worked as a Police Officer in Detroit. Adam earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Marygrove College and has an educational background from Wayne County Community College District.
