Danielle Persky

Danielle Persky has extensive experience in public health and community service, currently serving as Health Officer (Executive Director) at the Van Buren/Cass District Health Department since March 2017, where previous roles included Deputy Health Officer and Director of Health Promotion. Prior to this, Danielle worked at Prevention Works, Inc. from October 2011 to March 2017, holding positions as Fund Development & Health Marketing Coordinator and Prevention Specialist. Additional experience includes serving as Community Director at the March of Dimes from May 2010 to September 2011, Youth Development Professional at the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Kalamazoo, and Youth Suicide Prevention Specialist at Gryphon Place. Danielle holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Community Health Education from Western Michigan University.
