John van Lit

John van Lit has extensive experience in project engineering and management, currently serving as a Senior Project Engineer at Van den Herik Sliedrecht since May 2011. In this role, John oversees Technical and Environmental Management for maintenance contracts in West Netherlands South and specializes in planning and risk management. Previous positions include Project Engineer responsibilities across various projects, such as the construction of temporary dams and nature-friendly riverbanks. Prior experience includes budget and road management at Gemeente Beuningen and contract administration at Rijkswaterstaat, where John managed contract preparation and new contract implementation. John started the career as a Designer at Eldee Expo Designers bv after completing a degree in Construction at MBO institutions from 1984 to 1988.
