Leo Versteijlen

Leo Versteijlen has extensive experience in the fields of industrial automation and engineering. Currently serving as Team Manager at Van Doren Engineers since November 2014, Leo is responsible for managing and guiding project teams across various engineering tasks. Previous roles at Van Doren Engineers include Project Leader, where project preparation and team oversight were key responsibilities, and Project Engineer, focusing on design-related work under project leadership. Leo also served as a Service Engineer, handling service outages and maintenance. Prior experience includes working as a Shift Engineer at Ardagh Group, addressing mechanical and electrical maintenance, and serving in the Royal Netherlands Navy as a Non-Commissioned Officer in weapon technical service systems. Leo holds an MBO degree in Electronics from Koninklijke Marine Technische School and has completed further technical education in design and PLC systems, as well as mechanical engineering installation technology.
