Angela Rancilio

Angela Rancilio is a dedicated Mathematics Teacher and Math Department Head at Van Dyke Public Schools since August 2016, where also serves as an Instructional Coach. Rancilio has extensive experience in education, including roles as the Assistant Site Coordinator and Activity Facilitator for the C2 Pipeline program at Wayne State University, focusing on STEM engagement from October 2015 to December 2023. Prior positions include Mathematics Teacher at East Detroit Public Schools and Mathematics Advisor at University Preparatory Academy, where a unique advisory role involved mentoring students in life skills and academic tracking. Early career experience includes serving as an Instructional Aide and Substitute Teacher at Roseville Community Schools. Rancilio holds a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Wayne State University and a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education from the same institution, after initial studies in Nursing and Education at Eastern Michigan University.
