Deyna G.

Deyna G. has a diverse work experience history. Deyna started their career as a Runners Club Leader in the Community Recreational Department, where they built relationships with younger children and helped them improve their running skills. Deyna also worked as a Cashier at Goodwill Industries, providing excellent customer service and maintaining a clean store. At Lakeland University, they served as a Chemistry Lab Assistant, assisting colleagues during labs and performing general lab maintenance tasks. Deyna also gained research experience as an Undergraduate Research Experience Intern, working on a project focused on stem cells.

In 2018, Deyna joined Bemis Manufacturing Company as a Machine Operator, responsible for assembling toilet seat parts and hardware while demonstrating strong communication, teamwork, and multitasking skills. Later, they interned at Ansay & Associates as a Business Development Intern, engaging in direct outreach to prospective clients and utilizing an agency management software system for data entry.

Currently, Deyna is working at Van Horn Automotive Group as a Human Resources Assistant and recently transitioned to the role of Human Resources Recruiter.

Deyna G. obtained a High School Diploma from Sheboygan South High School, where they studied from 2012 to 2016. Following that, they pursued a degree in Business Administration at Lakeland University from 2016 to 2019, earning a Bachelor of Arts. Additionally, Deyna G. holds several certifications, including the Wisconsin Assistant Child Care Teacher Certification from Lakeshore Technical College in June 2015. Deyna has also completed various online courses and obtained certifications in areas such as hiring for culture, leading without authority, the future of work, unconscious bias in recruiting and interviewing, and human resources foundations. These online certifications were obtained from institutions such as Paycor and LinkedIn, with the most recent one completed in January 2022.
