Jan van Hout

Jan van Hout is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the energy and sustainability sectors. Serving as the CEO of OVVIA since September 2009, Jan van Hout has been instrumental in assisting real estate owners, public institutions, and project developers in finding sustainable investment solutions while addressing challenges such as the "Circle of Blame" and the split-incentive dilemma. In addition to this role, Jan van Hout has been a lecturer at the Instituut voor Vastgoed & Duurzaamheid since November 2014, focusing on training related to Energy Service Companies (ESCo's). Additionally, as the General Director of Van Hout adviseurs en installateurs since June 1997, Jan van Hout leads a prominent installation firm recognized for its commitment to future-focused installation technology. Jan van Hout also served as a board member of e.nu Zuidoost Brabant from November 2009 to 2013. Jan van Hout holds a degree from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht, which was completed between 1997 and 2002.
