Maarten Edixhoven

Maarten Edixhoven is currently the Chairman at Van Lanschot Kempen NV. Prior to this, they were a Member of the Management Board at VNO-NCW from January 2019 to June 2021. Maarten has also served as the Vice Chairman of the Management Board at the Dutch Association of Insurers from February 2017 to May 2021.

Edixhoven began their career at ING Group N.V. in 1995, where they worked their way up to Head of Corporate Compliance. In 2010, they left ING to join SNS REAAL as a Member of the Management Committee. Maarten held this position until 2014, when they became the General Manager and Chairman of the Board of Zwitserleven.

In addition to their corporate roles, Edixhoven has also been involved with several non-profit organizations. Maarten was a Lid van het Bestuur at De Nederlandse Uitdaging from February 2014 to November 2018, and also served on the board of Stichting Micropensioen Ontwikkelingslanden from April 2013 to June 2017.

Maarten Edixhoven was educated at Nijenrode business school, Stanford University Graduate School of Business, TIAS School for Business and Society, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam), and Christelijk Gymnasium Utrecht.
