Van Leer Foundation
Ana María Rey Martinez is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in education, development, and communications. Currently serving as the Van Leer Fellowship Manager at the Van Leer Foundation since January 2024, Ana María has previously contributed to the International Baccalaureate as the IBWS Associate Manager and Operations Coordinator, overseeing curriculum development operations and driving innovation. Earlier roles include managing Nuffic's Latin American Program and coordinating advocacy efforts for the United Network of Young Peacebuilders. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Public Policy from Erasmus University Rotterdam and Central European University, along with a B.A. in Human Ecology from the College of the Atlantic. Ana María has also engaged in independent field research and held various consultancy roles, showcasing a long-standing commitment to cultural and social issues.
