Christopher Fox, AIA, NCARB, CAPS has a substantial work experience in the architecture industry. Christopher has held various roles in different companies.

Starting in 1997, Fox began their career as an Architectural Intern at Cole & Goyette Architects. After a year, they moved on to William Wilson Architects where they worked as an Architectural Designer from 1998 to 2000. Following that, they joined Kvell Corcoran Architects as an Architectural Project Manager from 2000 to 2003.

In 2003, Fox transitioned to SK&I Architectural Design Group where they served as an Architectural Project Manager until 2005. Christopher then joined Van Metre Companies as an Architectural Project Manager in 2005 before being promoted to Senior Architectural Project Manager in 2006. Christopher held this position until 2014 when they became the Director of Architecture & Component Design. In 2016, Fox was further promoted to Vice President of Architecture and held this position until September 2020. Currently, they serve as the Vice President of Architecture and Building Science at Van Metre Companies.

Christopher Fox, AIA, NCARB, CAPS holds a Bachelor's of Architecture degree from The Catholic University of America, which they obtained in 1997. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Arts and Science in Architecture at the same institution, graduating in 1996. In 2015, Christopher obtained the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards Certification (NCARB). Christopher is also a member of The American Institute of Architects (AIA). Additionally, Christopher holds certifications as a Certified Aging-In-Place Specialist (CAPS) from the National Association of Home Builders and is a member of the Home Builders Association of Virginia (HBAV). While they are a Registered Architect with NCARB, no specific dates are provided for these additional certifications.
