Arthur Uijterwijk

Arthur Uijterwijk is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) matters. Currently serving as Manager ESG in the Legal and Compliance Department at Van Oord since October 2011, Arthur emphasizes the importance of responsible business practices. Previously, Arthur held the position of Manager Legal Counsel within Van Oord’s Offshore Wind BV and Offshore BV, contributing to global CO2 emission reduction initiatives. Prior experience includes roles as Advocaat at Boot Advocaten and as Directeur Juridische Zaken and General Counsel at Dura Vermeer Groep NV. Arthur began a legal advisory career at vereniging eigen huis, focusing on construction law and building contracts. Educational qualifications include a law degree from Utrecht University and specialized training in High Performance Leadership and energy transition law from IMD and Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, respectively.
