Bastiaan Both

Bastiaan Both is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management and engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Project Engineer at Van Oord since January 2003, Bastiaan has been the principal engineer for a fully automated offshore tower for the subsea rock installation vessel "Bravenes" from 2014 to 2019. Prior to this role, Bastiaan held positions at HRP as a Project Manager, responsible for financial, technical, and commercial aspects of newbuilding propulsion projects, and at John Crane as a Project Manager, focusing on project support for high-profile initiatives. Early career experience includes engineering roles at HRP and Inrada Group, providing foundational skills in propulsion systems and hydraulic systems. Bastiaan holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering Production from Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences and completed secondary education at Albert Einstein High School.
