Brigitte de Brabander

Brigitte de Brabander is an experienced professional in the field of tender management and project risk engineering, currently serving as Tender Manager Dredging at Van Oord since June 2017, after holding the position of Tender Engineer Dredging. Brigitte has led various tenders related to maintenance port initiatives and reclamations, successfully managing teams of 2 to 25 members throughout the tender process. Previously, Brigitte worked as a Project Risk Engineer for the Offshore Wind sector, contributing to the Hollandse Kust Zuid project with Hellenic Cables. Brigitte began her career at Van Oord as a Risk & Planning Engineer focusing on projects in the Middle East and Europe. Prior to Van Oord, Brigitte was a trainee at Strukton International, where involvement included developing QA/QC systems and initiating risk management processes for major infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia. Brigitte holds a Master of Science in Economics with a focus on Behavioural Economics & Game Theory from the University of Amsterdam, along with degrees from Renmin University of China and the University of Groningen.
